Bill McMillen’s son, Billy, was a godsend!!! In the end, it took a whole village to get me out of my Delmar house in time for the buyer’s “walk through”!! Guess I’ll have to die in this Villa – I NEVER want to move again!!! Can’t beat this beautiful sunshine and weather! I DO miss those Wed lunches, dance friends, family (only my daughter is still in the Albany area). We do chat on the phone about once a week – and, she is planning to make a trip down to see the new place.

Ken’s back in the Used Car business! He needs to be busy! Me????? So far, I like just taking care of my house! Always had to fit in domestic chores whenever I could see a “window”. Now I can stick with a task, if I want to that is! I do miss the Fall colors – but, am sure enjoying this weather with the warmth!

Finally have the Villa “to rights” (well . . a little bit remains to be done). Just don’t anyone look in the garage!!! I want to set a match to what’s left!

We have a Club House with quite a few activities. People are very friendly. Very nice vibe all around. It's only 10 minutes from where my condo was in Bird Bay Village. Hard to leave all my friends and community. But, over the years, I've made some good friends here too. What's that saying? "Old friends are gold - new friends are silver."

Wonderful to see the birds. The Heron got his dinner, but was sorry to see the poor fishy struggle. Circle of life, right?

I have a resident alligator I've named Bob. He stops to look sometimes. Probably thinking "ah .. ...lunch" - ha.
